Donation Refund Policy

This policy explains when and how refunds are issued for donations made to MUKTI RUN.

Eligibility for Refunds

MUKTI RUN FOR SAFE FOOD offers a refund policy for donors who made a donation without proper knowledge, unwillingly, or are not satisfied with the work of MUKTI. Refund claims must be made within 4 weeks of receiving your receipt from MUKTI.

To request a refund, please email info@muktiweb.org with the subject line “Donation Refund Claim”. Be sure to include complete details of your donation: date, donor name, currency, cause, PAN/TIN number, and transaction details.

Refund Process

We issue automated electronic receipts for all online transactions wherever possible. Once we receive your claim, details of the refund will be communicated via email. The refund process may take up to 8 weeks from the date we receive your claim.

Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions

Refunds are considered in cases of duplicate transactions caused by software or processing errors. Proof of the error must be provided. If the error was caused by the donor, MUKTI will refund the donation amount after deducting applicable bank/online gateway charges and MUKTI’s processing fees.

Conditions

  • Refunds will be made to the same payment method originally used for the donation.
  • Cash refunds are not possible. Refunds will be issued via cheque or online transfer, depending on the original payment method.
  • The decision of MUKTI trustees will be final regarding refunds.
